Introducing Competitor News Search
- You can now search within a competitor's news feed directly from the news toolbar. Type your query to filter results, with highlighted matches for better visibility and minimal delay thanks to efficient input handling.
Introducing MCP Integration
- Connect AI tools securely to your Tabz organization with our new read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration. This allows you to access valuable competitor insights directly through authorized channels. Account owners will see the MCP server URL in the Settings page to initiate the setup.
New Features
- Enhanced competitor listings with detailed company information, product details, social profiles, and tracking URLs available through the new MCP tools.
- A new MCP tool facilitates fetching tracked competitors' social posts, offering the same visibility as in-app feeds.
- Admins can now set report cadences for Slack/Discord/Teams integrations, choosing between daily or weekly updates.
- Support for LinkedIn Showcase pages as valid Company social profiles, allowing tracking of these specialized pages alongside other LinkedIn formats.
Improvements
- Improved layouts for competitor news cards on smaller screens, ensuring all widgets display cleanly and are easy to interact with.
- Avatars throughout the application are now more consistent, displaying logos or initials based on availability to enhance your interaction experience.
- Competitive impact scoring descriptions have been refined to provide clearer guidelines and tone requirements, resulting in more balanced outputs.
Bug Fixes
- Increased reliability in deleting competitors with large associated data, reducing the chance of timeout errors.
- Website change validation now properly respects account-level impact scoring rules, ensuring fewer missed updates.
Performance Enhancements
- Ads crawling has been optimized to process each ad as an individual background job, improving reliability and data freshness.
- Enhanced performance for image previews, allowing for cleaner scaling for social images while maintaining scroll capability for full-page website captures.
