Introducing Competitor News Search
  • You can now search within a competitor's news feed directly from the news toolbar. Type your query to filter results, with highlighted matches for better visibility and minimal delay thanks to efficient input handling.

Introducing MCP Integration
  • Connect AI tools securely to your Tabz organization with our new read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration. This allows you to access valuable competitor insights directly through authorized channels. Account owners will see the MCP server URL in the Settings page to initiate the setup.

New Features
  • Enhanced competitor listings with detailed company information, product details, social profiles, and tracking URLs available through the new MCP tools.
  • A new MCP tool facilitates fetching tracked competitors' social posts, offering the same visibility as in-app feeds.
  • Admins can now set report cadences for Slack/Discord/Teams integrations, choosing between daily or weekly updates.
  • Support for LinkedIn Showcase pages as valid Company social profiles, allowing tracking of these specialized pages alongside other LinkedIn formats.

Improvements
  • Improved layouts for competitor news cards on smaller screens, ensuring all widgets display cleanly and are easy to interact with.
  • Avatars throughout the application are now more consistent, displaying logos or initials based on availability to enhance your interaction experience.
  • Competitive impact scoring descriptions have been refined to provide clearer guidelines and tone requirements, resulting in more balanced outputs.

Bug Fixes
  • Increased reliability in deleting competitors with large associated data, reducing the chance of timeout errors.
  • Website change validation now properly respects account-level impact scoring rules, ensuring fewer missed updates.

Performance Enhancements
  • Ads crawling has been optimized to process each ad as an individual background job, improving reliability and data freshness.
  • Enhanced performance for image previews, allowing for cleaner scaling for social images while maintaining scroll capability for full-page website captures.

We’re excited to share the latest updates from our platform from April 1 to April 21, 2026. Here’s what’s new:

Introducing a 14-Day Free Trial
  • New users are now eligible for a 14-day free trial at checkout, allowing them to explore our platform without immediate charges. The system also tracks trial start and end dates, ensuring clarity for users regarding their trial status.
New Features
  • Daily digests now feature a prioritization system, displaying the top three updates first, followed by additional updates categorized by competitor. This makes it easier for users to find the most critical information at a glance.
  • The product now includes a guided in-app tour, helping users navigate key features within the Command Center, Competitors, Users, and Notifications, enhancing onboarding for new users.
  • We have added the ability for users to search through their competitor's news feed, allowing for quicker access to relevant updates.
  • Admins can now send test daily reports using various formats (Slack, Discord, Email, Teams) to preview how their reports look before sending to clients.
Improvements
  • Subscription plans have been updated to allow tracking of more competitors—Lite allows 5, Core allows 10, and Pro allows 20 competitors.
  • The mobile layout for competitor reviews and news cards has been enhanced for better readability, ensuring a smoother experience on smaller screens.
  • Report layouts for daily updates on Slack, Discord, Email, and Teams have been improved, making them more intuitive and easier for users to read.
  • Image previews in website change notifications now have a small icon trigger, allowing users to view full-size screenshots, which are also scrollable for better viewing of larger images.

  • Website Spotlight: The "Most Active Competitors" section now includes a Website Spotlight feature that highlights recent pricing and major messaging changes for competitors. Users can view screenshots and open text-diff modals to inspect changes.
  • Account Relevance Rules Management: Administrators can now create and manage account- and competitor-specific AI rules that influence how news articles are scored for relevance and impact, allowing for more tailored insights.
  • X (Twitter) Post Crawling: The platform now automatically collects and displays X posts, including quoted posts and media, providing richer social content visibility without any required user action.
  • G2 Reviews Crawler: A new G2 reviews crawler has been added, which automatically collects and processes product reviews from G2, allowing users to access G2-sourced reviews where competitor reviews are shown.
